On Monday we left Santa Rosa. They have a great little airport named after Charles Schulz.

Trivia: Which of the four faces above does not have a Peanut's name? Alaska Airlines flies a smaller prop plane into Santa Rosa. It provides a wonderful flight. On the way in, we flew over Crater Lake.

On the way out, we flew over San Francisco.

Points of reference: the Golden Gate Bridge in the upper right hand corner; Alcatraz Island in the Bay; and the Giant's PNC Park just left of downtown. We connected with our flight to Salt Lake through Los Angeles. We were treated to an amazing aerial view of LA on the flight in.

We got into Salt Lake late. After checking in, we hiked about a mile to the only close restaurant open, Pie Pizzeria Underground. A stromboli pizza at midnight didn't affect my sleep, but I will pay when I start cardio kickboxing next week. University Guesthouse is located on the campus of the University of Utah. We are enjoying the opportunity to reconnect with pastors from the MB Conference. It was especially good to see Pastor JL and Bethany Martin from our church. It's been awhile.
