5 o'clock came very early Saturday morning. Made it to the ferry terminal by 7. The youth group of 16 from Pennsylvania met us there. We filled the 2 carts of the luggage trolley to the top. Besides our belongings, we also had 3 totes and 3 ice chests of food. Juneau's Costco is a great blessing. It is much more expensive to use the grocery store in Haines.

Our ferry was the MV Fairweather. It is one of two fast ferries. The trip from Juneau takes a little over 2 hours rather 4 and a half. Cost one way is $50.

We will be at Echo Ranch Haines until Friday. Echo Ranch was given the camp in Haines by the Presbyterian church about two years ago. Youth groups and work teams have been updating and maintaining the grounds/buildings to improve the site. The camp has a unique view of Rainbow Glacier.

Sally and I are helping in the kitchen. My cousin, Brynden Wiens, is our cook. I believe my primary responsibility is comic relief.

Was given the chance to preach at Port Chilkoot Bible Church this morning. Spoke on God's unlimited grace out of John 1:16-17.
